Marquette, MI — The Noquemanon Trail Network (NTN) now has Nordic ski memberships available for sale at area outlets throughout Marquette County.
The Noquemanon Trail Network is a non-motorized trail organization that grooms and operates a variety of cross-country ski trails throughout Marquette County. The trails that it operates are the Noquemanon Trail, which hosts the Noquemanon Ski Marathon, the Forestville loops, Saux Head Trail, on County Road 550, and the Big Bay Pathway. The NTN also has partnerships with the City of Marquette and the Marquette Board of Light & Power with the Fit Strip and the City of Ishpeming with the Al Quaal trail system.
The NTN is a non-profit organization that is funded solely through private donations, grants, and memberships. Daily trail conditions will be available at www.noquetrails.org. Sign up for the trail reports to sent directly to you on the website.
Season memberships are on sale at Down Wind Sports and Sports Rack. Passes can be purchased at the above outlets as well as the Cedar Motor Inn and the Country Inn & Suites. Memberships & day passes may also be purchased at the NTN office (located at Lakeview Arena), on-line at www.noquetrails.org, or the Forestville Trailhead.
Early bird memberships will be available at sports shop during Club Days, Sports Rack Club Day, Monday, November 24th, 10 -6pm & Down Wind Sports Club Day, Tuesday, November 25th, 10 - 6pm. Last day for the early bird membership will be the 10th Annual NTN Snowball on December 5, 2014 at the Marquette History Museum, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00.p.m. Make your holiday party the NTN Snow-Ball this year, featuring outstanding food from Sweet Basil, silent auction items, excellent music and community friends.
Tickets are available at the Sports Rack, Downwind Sports, and through NTN Board members, Snowball Committee members and at the door. Tickets are $60 per person or $100 per couple. Tickets come with drink coupon and a commemorative glass.
