Dave Forbush passes away

It is with great sorrow that I am informing you of Dave’s passing early Friday morning, April 18. The world will be a different place without him among us. It is comforting to know that he was at home with 2 very close friends and his pets at his side.

Dave left us with many priceless gifts, one of which is the legacy, lifestyle and community of Forbush Corner. One of Dave’s wishes was to have Forbush Corner continue to operate. Forbush Corner will be open next season.

We are in the planning stage of a Memorial Service for our beloved friend Dr. David R Forbush. It will be held at Forbush Corner on June 1st and will start around 12:00 pm.
 
Dave’s wish was to be cremated and to have his ashes buried at Forbush Corner. This will be the main purpose of the event. We will also have some other activities which will give us all a chance to spend time together and reminisce about this great man and wonderful friend. If you have some words you would like to say, some poetry, or a song you would like to sing, please bring them with you.
