Young racers enthusiastic about racing in Junior Noque

MARQUETTE - There may not have been many people named "Hill" at the Junior Noquemanon on Friday afternoon, but that didn't keep a number of kids from naming that their favorite part of the Forestville course in Marquette Township.
"Going down the hills!" was the excited response from Trent Sadler, 5, of Marquette when asked about the best part of cross-country skiing just before participating in the untimed 1-kilometer event at the end of the afternoon's events. He's a kindergartner at Cherry Creek Elementary School in Harvey.
"Downhill is the best part," echoed Gwendolyn Rickauer, 8, also of Marquette, who finished fifth in the girls' 3K Classic race and second in the girls 8-9-year-old division.
