50K is back for 2014 White Pine Stampede; 20k finish moves

Heather McKaig has announced two big changes to the 2014 White Pine Stampede:

Good news! The 50K is back for the 2014 race!! Also, the 20K will be finishing at the Summit Village at Shanty Creek alongside the 50K. Look for more updates soon!

There are no details on course routing or on wave start times at this time.

The point-to-point White Pine Stampede cross country ski race will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014. The race starts in Mancelona, Michigan. There are three distances: 10k, 20K, and 50K. The 10K will finish at Schuss Village at Shanty Creek, while the 20K and 50K will continue on to Summit Village. Individuals racing the 20K and 50K races will be receive Michigan Cup points.
