Birkie grooms trails on May 3!

It is Friday morning and I just finished grooming and skiing at 5:30am.  It truly is like mid winter conditions.  5"-6" base of clean new snow.  Tilled, combed, and track set what we groomed yesterday at "OO".  The temp was 28F at the time of grooming and has set up pretty good for May???.  It is snowing hard and another 1-2" will fall this morning.  I used good, cold skis on nice fresh powder!!  The skiing will be best in the mornings as it will freeze for the next couple of nights. I'm really sorry for the bikers and lovers of warm temps, but this only happens once in a lifetime in Wisconsin!!  AWESOME!!
