The TART/Leelanau Connector Paved

Hello Friends of TART Trails,

The TART/Leelanau connector in Traverse City was paved Wednesday and looks really nice! It was a long time coming but it is great to have it in place. Elmers will be finishing up the project over the next few days. [See Steve Westphal's October 8 trail report].

We have scheduled an informal Ribbon Cutting for 4:00 PM Tuesday, Oct. 12 at the Carter Road end of the project. No speeches or refreshments, just a happy picture. Bring your bike or walking shoes [or rollerskis!] and enjoy the new trail.
