Brown and Powell win Cote Dame Marie

Eli Brown laid the law down, winning the 24.4k Cote Dame Marie by over 4 minutesover Ross Williams, 1:06:35 to 1:10:40. Alex Vanias was just behind third in 1:10:42.
Amy Powell skied across the 12.2k women's finish line with a narrower 37 second lead over Erica O'Hearn, 40:45 to 41:21. Brenda Carlson finished third in 44:35.
In the 6.1k Junior race, also a Great Lakes District Junior Olympic Qualifier, Erin Lipp was the top female in 22:15. Sarah Goble was second in 22:35, with Katie Todd third in 25:43.
Eivind Kragebakk was the top boy in 21:02. Ian Durand and Kyle Dotterrer were second and third in 21:04 and 22:11.
