2006 US Olympic Team member Abby Larson joins CXC for Technique Clinics

Central Cross Country Ski Association is pleased to announce that Abby Larson, 2006 US Olympic Team member, will be joining CXC Team members to run classic and skate technique clinics on Friday, February 23 during Birkie weekend at Telemark Resort.

For the second year CXC will present Birkie seminars and clinics at Telemark Resort from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Technique clinics will be run by CXC Ski Team and Olympic Development Program athletes and coaches:

• 2:00 p.m. Skate Technique (on snow) for beginner, intermediate and advanced skiers (meet by Salomon tent at the demo area)
• 3:00 p.m. Classic Technique (on snow) for beginner, intermediate and advanced skiers (meet by Salomon tent at the demo area)
• 4:00 p.m. Nutrition for Endurance Sports ? Pete Anderson, Nutrition Scientist, UW-Madison,
• 5:00 p.m. Designing Your Training Plan ? Bryan Fish, CXC Ski Team Head Coach 2nd floor lobby outside of restaurant

All participants will have an opportunity to purchase CXC Training DVD and US Ski Team Technique DVD at the clinic.

Also don't miss exciting bike raffle and silent action at the CXC booth during Birkie Expo at Telemark Resort.

CXC will be raising funds by waxing skis for Saturday?s participants all day Friday at Telemark.
