The last 3 events for the inaugural Snow Sisters Celebration are set for this weekend! The last of the events of the “Snow Sisters Celebration” will completely benefit organizations in our community!
This year the emphasis is on “SISTERHOOD” and the wonderful camaraderie of women! We hope that you will be able to attend this last weekend of fantastic, spirited events. The celebration includes February 10th with the “Girls Gone Winter Health & Fitness Expo”, which takes place at the Landmark Inn and the “Twirl Girl Skate” spins into the Marquette Commons later that night. The grand culmination of the festivities is the “Snow Sister Slide ‘N Strut Trail Tour”, February 11th. It will begin at the Jacobetti Center and continues on to the Noquemanon Trail with fabulous food, music and fun waiting at (nearly) every turn. Look for more information about all of these events on the following pages.
The Snow Sister Celebration is about recreation that has nothing to prove. Whether cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice-skating or shopping all of the events embrace the joy of being outdoors- in the company of friends! And, the Snow Sister Celebration is also about re-creation: from fashion and fitness to health awareness and nutrition all of the events focus on celebrating being yourself-empowered and healthy!
We believe that Snow Sisters come in all shapes and sizes, but they are all of one mind. We sincerely hope that you invite all the women you love to join in this celebration of winter and embrace the spirit of Girl Powder!
These events are designed to give women the opportunity to gather in an environment of fun and laughter while supporting some very serious and worthwhile causes. The organizations that we represent, the Noquemanon Trail Network and the Women’s Center of Marquette share the common vision of enhancing and sustaining healthy lifestyles for all women and their families.
