20km White Pine Will Count as a Marathon

The 20km White Pine Stampede will be considered a Marathon for Michigan Cup Combined standings and for the Great Lakes Marathon Series.
The Michigan Cup Combined competition consists of a skier's best freestyle, classic and marathon results during the season.
The Great Lakes Marathon Series is a series of marathons, two in the upper peninsula, two in the lower peninsula, sponsored by the Michigan Cup Series. Skiers completing 3 of the 4 marathon distances receive a gold pin. Skiers completing any combination of 3 long and short distances receive a silver pin. The marathons are the White Pine Stampede, North American Vasa, Noquemanon, and the Great Bear Chase.
The 20km White Pine will count as a long distance race for the GLMS.
