Homes to be built on park lands

I wanted to pass along some info on a possible "stinky" land deal in Milford Township. A section of HCMA land is up for sale that would bring 60 more homes to the area. Unfortunately this would eliminate a nice strip of land connecting Kensington to Proud Lake! I've been on some of the land, but I never realized how far it went. It would be a great connection for an OD trail run from Kensington over to Proud Lake.
This web site, http://www.savekensington.com/, has more info and a calendar of public hearings. Let's encourage our skier friends to take action and write an email or letter to the HCMA board...
