Spots Open for Grand Rapids Aalberg Camp

The Grand Rapids Nordic Ski Team / John Aalberg Training Camp has a few openings available! The camp will meet at Pando Ski Area in Rockford (just north of Grand Rapids) on Saturday and Sunday, June 19-20. June 19 Sat (starting at 09:00)

• Introduction
• Rollerski skate w/video at middle school (focus on V2)
• Review of technique before/after lunch
• Training talk: Capacity training, planning etc...
• Capacity session on foot (Max Heart Rate test?)
• Review of MHR results, designing training zones
• BBQ at Ernie's place

Jun 20 Sun (starting at 08:30)

• Rollerski classic w/video at White Pine trail (focus on new double pole and kick double pole)
• Review of technique & video
• Lunch
• Core strength, other balance/agility drills (including ski imitation drills)
• End of camp
