Tuesday Race Report from Scott Wilson at Telemark Resort:
I skated all of the scheduled race trails today with good skis. Snow is thin but nicely compacted with all new Tidd Tech corduroy. Right now the classic race would be run on a man made loop to ensure full depth tracks. 3 snow guns are running full time in this cold weather to ensure ample snow for the stadium and classic trails. The 1.2km sprint course is completed with man made snow and was all bladed out today. Tomorrow the Birkie Piston Bully is coming in to till all of the existing man made snow. Predicted snow that looks solid for the next week includes 1-2” on Thursday and 1-4” over the weekend with “substantial snow” of 3-8” on Tuesday. Just in time to buff out the trails and make for another great CXC SuperTour at Telemark Resort.
