GLD Races to be Held at Valley Spur

Hi All,

I skied at Valley Spur today and the conditions were great.  We are going to hold the races this weekend out there.  Valley Spur is on M94, 12 miles west of Chatham.  Race times will stay the same. Distances will be close to the same, I'm going to map out the courses tomorrow.

The courses in Munising are good and seem to be in the best shape of anywhere.  The Best Western in Munising has 7 rooms left at $85/night.  There is a Days Inn and and AmericInn there also.

The race times are as follows:

Saturday Mass Start  FS - 2:00pm (may be changed to interval start depending on race location)
5K - J2 Boys, J2 Girls
10K - J1 Boys, OJ Boys, J1 Girls, OJ Girls

Sunday Interval CL - 10:00am:
5K - All Classes

Cost is $5 per day for junior or college skiers and $7 per day for adults.
