Rollerski Clinc and Time Trial on Sunday

Don't let the lack of snow get you down! Olympic Biathlete and Team NordicSKiRacer Hugh Pritchard will be offering another rollerski clinic on this Sunday morning, January 7 from 10-noon, at the Maple Beach Parking Lot at Kensington Metropark between Brighton and Milford.

Then, at noon, we'll have a 5K rollerski time trial on the Kensignton bike path, starting from the Boat Rental parking lot.

You must have your own rollerskis and poles. Kensignton Metropark also requires you wear a helmet.

The Maple Beach Parking lot will be closed - park your car either at the Boat Rental parking lot or the Possum Hollow parking lot (on either side of Maple Beach) and ski the bike path to the Maple Beach parking lot.

Directions:
From the West: Take I-96 east of US-23 (Brighton). From I-96, take exit 151 (Kensington Road), go north a quarter mile, turn right into the park

From the East: From I-96, take exit 153 (Kent Lake Road), go north a half mile straight into the park.

Maple Beach is about 4 miles in from either entrance.
