Just because there’s no snow on the ground doesn’t prevent local skiers from dreaming about skiing. The North American Vasa cross-country ski race will present the film “Club Ski” on Friday January 5th at 7 p.m. at Timber Ridge RV and Recreation Resort. Timber Ridge is located at the east end of Hammond Road in Traverse City.
“Club Ski” is a family movie that includes action footage of cross-country skiing, an amazing crash sequence and exclusive World Cup race footage.
The cost is $5 for students and $7.50 for adults. Chili will be served and door prizes will be given away. All money raised will benefit the Traverse City Central, West and St.Francis High School cross-country ski teams. Free lighted skiing will be available after 4 p.m. if snow is present,
