More fun in the sun here at the Yellowstone Ski Festival yesterday. Bright sun and temps in the 40's had folks skiing in tshirts. Attached are a photo of 1) a couple of guys from Proctor High School in Duluth who are demoing the latest in breathable leather attire; 2) Rick Halling manning the Atomic booth and 3) the On Snow Demo area.
The trails are in remarkably good shape this monring considering the warm weather we've had over the last few days. Doug has been working his magic. The warm weather is gone today and my Thanksgiving prayers were answered when 6 inches of new snow fell this morning.
Doug groomed last night and at about 11:00 AM the snow started falling hard in West Yellowstone. We had a full on white-out for close to two hours. In the end, we received about 6 inches of fresh snow. Look for Doug to rework everything for Friday - a big and busy day here at the Yellowstone Ski Festival!
