Cross Country Ski Swap on Saturday, Nov 4

The Soo Finnish Nordic Ski Club is hosting a ski swap on Saturday, November 4 at Westminster Memorial Hall, 134 Brock Street from 10 am to 4 pm.
Drop off items on Friday, from 7 pm to 9 pm. 15% of the selling price of all items is donated to the club to support youth programs.
New and used cross country ski equipment and clothing will be available.
We ask everyone to check their closets, basements and garages for children’s cross-country ski gear (skis, poles, boots, clothes) and bring them to the swap on Friday. We are in need of second hand equipment for kids. Jackrabbit parents will be appreciative.
The Soo Finnish Race Team has acquired a new race suit from Karbon in Toronto. They supply a number of Olympic Teams with clothing including Biathlon Canada, Canada Ski Jumping, Luge USA, Bobsleigh USA, Australia Alpine, Australia Freestyle, and Slovenia Snowboard.
Our new design is stunning and so is the quality. Suit tops are $100 and bottoms are $80 plus 6% GST and are available individually or as a set. Sizes range from XXS to XL. Samples will be on hand at the swap. A 50% deposit is required and the order time is 6 - 8 weeks.
Fabulous training suits and jackets from Halti of Finland are also available. Recently, Halti has been appointed supplier to Canada's National Team and they are using the exact same suit as our race team. They also supply the Finnish Nordic Combined Team. There is limited selection available so act quickly if you are interested. Order turn- around time is 2 weeks and no deposit is required. Prices are very good and quality is superb but selection is limited.
Also, club memberships and registration for Jackrabbit skiing programs will be available on Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm.
