We have Snow!!
We'd like to take advantage of this early snow for us to get a chance to ski. Huron Meadows trails have good conditions. They have spread snow on Bucks Run but have not started to groom it (as of today). I hope they will have Bucks Run and the Ski Center open by the weekend, if not we will ski from the Sunset Ridge parking lot (find map here: https://www.metroparks.com/huron-meadows-metropark/)
If Buck's Run/Ski Center is Open plan to meet near Ski Center 9:30am Saturday 12/13/25 ready to ski
If Buck's Run/Ski Center is Closed (Gate to parking lot will be Locked) plan to meet at Sunset Ridge parking lot 9:30am Saturday 12/13/25 ready to ski.
We'll do some skill drills, game, and then go for a ski
Temperatures are currently predicted to be in the teens. Be sure to dress accordingly.
If there are any questions let me know. I will send out another email if I hear any updates on Buck's Run/Ski Center status.

The following is our schedule for our weekend team skis. These will be our usual skill drills to develop technique, games, and time to ski together. We will meet at Huron Meadows Metropark (8765 Hammel Rd, Brighton, MI 48116) near the clubhouse at 9:30am ready to ski. These typically last about an hour, but you are welcome to ski as long as you want. :) We’ll add more dates if we get early snow.

- Saturday Feb 14th
- Sunday Mar 7th
If we get earlier snow we’ll add earlier dates
If there is enough interest we could meet at Huron Meadows to ski on Tuesday evenings. This will be a little less formal. Some guided drills/exercises with time to ski together. Please contact me if you are interested.
Parents are welcome to join all of the ski sessions.
