Join the thousands who have skied this event on professional groomed trails which wind through the most picturesque landscape of northwestern Lower Michigan, ending at Shanty Creek Resort.

A portion of the proceeds from this event benefit Mancelona’s Iron Vault Student Assistance Program and the Jack McKaig Memorial Scholarship for a Mancelona High School graduate.

Entry fee includes a specially-designed long-sleeved performance shirt and a finisher’s medal for all three events. Awards are presented to the top three finishers in each race, age and gender classes in the 35km and 20km races.

SHORT’S COOL-DOWN PARTY & AWARDS: Short’s beer for $2 per glass, good food, entertainment and slide show presentation of the day’s race. A WRISTBAND for entrance will be included in your race packet for you and one guest. Additional guests will be charged at the door.

Michigan Cup scoring

Full points are given for racers in the 40km race; partial points (starting at 150 points for 1st place) for racers in the 20km race.

Juniors get points for the 10km race

Classic and skate racers are combined together for scoring.
