UPDATE 2: Frosty Fest! Frosty Freestyle 5/15K

Update 2: Thursday, January 9, 2025: The trail has been extended to 1.8K!

Update 1: Wednesday, January 8, 2025: We have snow! It's all man-made so far, but we expect an inch of fresh snow over Friday and Friday night. Snow is currently being transferred to the race course and initial grooming has begun. No, Buck's Run will not be open until race day so the groomers can continue adding snow to the course... The parking lot is closed until race day. Buck's Run will be open at noon both days for general skiers and rentals will be available.

The course will be 1.5km and run clockwise. Thanks goodness travel weather looks good (no ice storms or winter storms!) and the temperature at the start of the race is forecast to be 23F!

Man-made snow or natural snow? Either way, we have a race! The man-made snow course is multiple 2.4km loops on the man-made snow trail. If we have enough natural snow, the race will be on the normal xc ski trails. Both a 5km (MI Cup Junior points) and 15km distance (MI Cup Senior points) are offered.
