UPDATE: Meijer State Games Of Michigan - Forbush 8K/18K Freestyle

UPDATE 1/27/2016:

Forbush Corner will be open Friday at 1 PM for skiing (1PM - 5 PM), race registration, and bib pick-up. Jim Harrington will also be conducting a Toko Wax Clinic at the ski shop starting at 6:30 PM Friday evening. The ski shop will remain open until 9 PM for registration and bib pick-up.

Day of race registration will begin at 8 AM on Saturday morning inside the ski shop. The 17km Forbush Freestyle Race is set to start at 10 AM and the 8 km race at 10:30 AM. The 17km race will have a men's wave followed by a women's wave 10 minutes later. he 8km race will have one mass start at ~ 10:30 AM. A complimentary lunch and brief medal ceremony will follow the race in the Warming Room.

Non-race skiers will still have access to the entire West Trail System and the connector to Hartwick Pines State Park on Saturday morning. The entire trail system will be open immediately following the race at approximately noon. Please join us for a free lunch in the Warming Room following the race too.

There will also be an 8K, easier option that is part the the Michigan Cup Fun Race Series. (Michigan Cup skiers will get 10 points for participating in a Fun Series race).
