The top 10% of the Michigan Cup Race Series in each age class is awarded a pin to mark them as the best skiers in the skiers. Congratulations!
We finally pulled together the final results for the illustrious 2014-2015 Michigan Cup Race Series Season...
The Pursuit Race consisted of skiers racing classic first, then switching to a freestyle leg. Erin Lipp and Ian Duran each had the fastest classic and freestyle legs in the race.
The Michigan Cup Relays consisted of teams of three racing an 8km loop. The first leg is classic; the second and third leg were freestyle. After the race was a huge party and awards ceremony.
Hanson Hills / Cross Country Ski Shop led from the beginning and never looked back, and are officially the Brumbaugh Cup winners of the 2014-2015 Michigan Cup season.
Sunny skies and temps of low 20’s greeted the racers as they took on the challenge of the Black Mountain 10km skate loop (nicknamed “The Beast”).
It was a Goble kind of day at the Boyne Grinder Freestyle at Boyne Mountain. Sarah Goble simply skied away from the pack, and Reid Goble nipped two competitors at the finish line.
Ken Dawson has just released the Michigan Cup individual standings to date (PDF) through the Vasa, but excluding the Noque and Gran Travers.
YTD Brumbaugh Cup results through the Gran Traverse race. Hanson Hills / Cross Country Ski Shop still has a commanding lead over all the other teams on Michigan Cup Circuit.

Both Alex Vanias and Kaitlyn Patterson added to their Michigan Cup victories today by winning the 50K Vasa. Milan Baic and Eric O'Hearn took the top spots in the 27K.
