Team NordicSkiRacer is an informal group of skiers who like the camaraderie around racing. Our members have ranged from people who are just learning to ski up to an Olympian...and everything in between. Members are mainly from southeastern Michigan, but we have had members from all over Michigan and Ohio.
We are year around active people who rollerski, bike, run, paddle, inline skate, swim, circuit train, hike - you get the idea! We may do these activities on our own or as small groups. We help each other become better skiers.
Annual dues: Individual ($10) or Family ($16)
Annual membership form: PDF, Word or Register Online.
$6 of the dues pays for each member's Michigan Cup Race Series registration fee.

It was a short season, marked by many race cancelations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Headquarters was still able to get the team out to win the overall Michigan Cup.
Twenty-nine relay teams took on the course, which consisted of several trails and plenty of sections that had been bolstered by artificial snow. Skiers from all the Michigan Cup teams showed up and reveled in great spring conditions and camaraderie.
Hanson Hills / Cross Country Ski Shop has won the 2021 Brumbaugh Cup for most powerful senior team on the Michigan Cup circuit. HH/CCSS finished with 468 points, well ahead of second place Grand Rapids Nordic Ski Team.
Ken Dawson, Michigan Cup's esteemed points keeper, has released this year's individual winners, including individual winners, the 10% club, and the skiers with the most points.
After five races, there was no movement in the order of teams in the Brumbaugh Cup competition. Hanson Hills / Cross Country Ski Shop still leads.
The Cross Country Ski Headquarters has a comfortable lead ahead of all the other teams in the Michigan Cup team competition. Gwenn Stevenson and Yvon Dufour top the individual standings.
Nothing in the calendar for the next seven days.
