Getting there: From Marquette take County Road 550 22 miles of the town of Big Bay. Turn left at the Lumberjack Tavern on to Bear Pit Road. Travel 3/4 of a mile, trailhead and parking on the right.
What's there: The Big Bay Pathway represents a beautiful trail system surrounding the Upper Peninsula's Big Bay community. It offers four seasons of use but is particularly well know for its unique cross country ski trail system and its 'Honey Bear Classic' ski race.
