Toko Wax Team Offers Seminars at West Yellowstone

Tue, Oct  30, 2007 - By Ian Harvey

The Toko Tech Team will be in force at the Yellowstone Fall Camp. As usual, we take this time to do internal schooling to ensure that the Toko Tech Team is equipped with the latest knowledge and techniques. This takes 3 full days. Otherwise, Toko Tech Team members will be available on a daily basis to assist skiers with their waxing at the trailside tents.

At the nightly Expo in the Conference Center, we will be offering a raffle for Toko Nordic apparel. Toko will also provide clinics to other clubs and industry partners such as Team Rossignol and the New England Nordic Ski Association.

On Tuesday, November 20 at 7:00pm in the Conference Center, Erik Hvoslef will conduct a seminar on how to tune metal edged skis.

On Wednesday, November 21 at 7:00pm, Alaskan Toko Tech Team member Patrick McGownd will give a presentation on what to expect at the Junior Olympics (held in Anchorage at Kinkaid Park) this spring. Nobody knows this area better than Patrick. He will present on what conditions might be expected, the trails, and the waxing facilities. All who are interested are welcome to attend, especially Junior Olympic coaches. This highly anticipated presentation will be given in the Toko Seminar Room located at Madison Crossing. The address is 121 Madison Ave. Enter in the door to the right of the weight room and then just go straight. You'll walk right into the seminar room.

Additionally, Toko USA Chief Ian Harvey will be giving a general waxing seminar on Friday, November 23 in the Conference Center at 7pm. This seminar will be mostly a question and answer session, so come prepared to learn some things that you always wanted to know.
