Ken Dawson, official Michigan Points Keeper just updated the current Michigan Cup individual standings, adding in the Boyne Mountain Classic results. As before, he is using last year's team rosters. Once the final team rosters are submitted on January 31, he can update skiers to their current team memberships...and start telling us what team leads the Michigan Cup!
Here are current Michigan Cup standings through the Boyne Mountian Classic (PDF). Note that it excludes the results from the Nubs Knob Flying Squirrel Junior Race. Please review age class categories carefully, this is easy to forget. Also, the team allocation is from last year's rosters - Ken will update the results when the final 2025 rosters are turned in.

As expected, I've dropped from 4th to 7th - not as much as I thought I would! But that will change....
What about our leaders? No changes after six races:
Team NordicSkiRacer's Rayne Newmister, with two wins, leads the junior men, with Cross Country Ski Headquarters' Shirel Temkin just ahead of Newmister's sister, Avery.
Rebecca Davis (Hanson Hills / Cross Country Ski Headquarters) still has a comfortable lead for the senior women, winning two races. Yvon Dufour (Team NordicSkiRacer) still tops the men.
Snows here! Get racing! The White Pine Stampede (on real snow!) and the Forbush Corner Memorial Classic are up next!
