The Wintersonnewende has been modified to two flat laps on a 5-6K loop on the golf course. Race starts at 9:30am as originally scheduled, but there will only be a freestyle division.
We are looking at having the Wintersonnewende Freestyle & Classic race - but modifying the race course to stay on the on the golf course. And shortening distance.

The first XC ski race of the winter in North America was held under beautiful sunny skies and a firm but compliant trail. Racers could be seen in shorts and t-shirts as they skied the Ski Fest course.

Saturday, Feb 16th will mark the return of racing to Forbush Corner. It will be a 17 km Michigan Cup freestyle cross country ski race. I need some ideas from you as to the name for our ski race.

We have a strong crew set up starting Tuesday. And better machinery as well. The snow plan (also starting Tuesday) is to first stockpile then start filling out course later in the week depending on weather.
