A Michigan Cup Race!
The Vasa Ski Club will host the Michigan Cup Sprints on Sunday February 6th at Timber Ridge Lodge in Traverse City.
They will start at 10 am and will replace the event that were held at
Hanson Hills the past several years. The Sprints feature a "qualifying
round" followed by double-elimination heats around a 1km loop. The
format is a fun "change of pace" for racers and offers great action for
spectators.
Registration: 8:00-9:30 am. Registration form (PDF)
Sprint Format: 10:00 am time trial qualifier, elimination heats to follow.
Distance: 1 km per heat
Course: Inside loop at Timber Ridge
Timing: Nick Baic
Prizes: Top 3 in each age class (junior, men, women). Hand-made awards!
Lunch: Hearty lunch served after the race (included in registration fee).
Fees: $15 for juniors, $20 all others
