Mason Tract Point-to-Point Rendezvous

What:

Join us in a point-to-point ski tour of our beloved local trail, the Mason Tract. This groomed (classic only) nine mile, intermediate level trail winds along an undeveloped stretch of the AuSable River. The scenery is pristinely beautiful, and skiing through it is a quintessential Northern Michigan winter experience.

We will meet at XC Ski HQ at 9:00am, then depart as a group to spot cars, and continue to the Mason Tract Trailhead to begin the adventure! Skiers can rest and refuel halfway through, where a hot lunch and bonfire await. When finished, head back to XC Ski HQ for a celebratory beer or glass of wine. Tickets are $20 and include car spot service, lunch along the trail, and post-ski beverage of your choice.

*Participants must be able to complete this 9 mile trail before 5:00pm. Lodging and dinner specials are available for participants at Gates Lodge and AuSable Riverview Resort, both located on the main branch of the Ausable River!
