The main event is a 22 Km freestyle race over challenging terrain on the Maasto Hiihto trails in Hancock that includes descents into and climbs out of the beautiful Swedetown Creek Gorge. 5K, 10K classical. Varied terrain, held on the Chassell Ski Trails | Chassell Recreation hosted the Copper Island Classic cross-country ski race at the Chassell trails on Sunday, January 20. The striding-only event drew participants from as far away as Madison, Wisconsin, and featured both a race and a "guess your time" event. |
