The new Rottefella Xcelerator skate binding is 36% lighter than the old one and the classic binding is 37% lighter. Extensive use of plastic and stainless steel is responsible for the weight loss.

The U.S. Ski Team has named the Norwegian roller ski brand Swenor as a supplier to the Team. Swenor recently entered into a long-term distribution agreement with Swix Sport.
