The Huron Meadows Metro Park Groomer Appreciation party is Saturday,
April 12, at 11:45 a.m. The event will be held at the Huron Meadows
Clubhouse.
We will provide food and drink. To broaden the
culinary experience, we ask that you please bring additional food and
drink (no alcoholic beverages) to pass.
We are asking for an $8
donation at the door. This will help to offset the costs of the event
and gifts for the groomers. Any amount collected over costs will go to
the park's groomer/ski fund. So feel free to donate as much as you
would like.
New this year: Ski swap and sale. Bring your used
gear to sell and trade with others. We will set up a couple of tables
in the clubhouse to display your gear. Bring a label of some sort to
show who owns the gear. The idea is to have items set out for display
throughout the day with your name on it. People can then find each
other to work out trades/sales.

After
this incredible Winter we owe a big thank you to the folks who went
above and beyond their jobs to provide us great skiing. Besides, it's
usually a pretty fun day.
