In a repeat of last year's Krazy Klassic, Team NordicSkiRacer Brad Baas and Hanson Hills/Cross Country Ski Shop skier Rebecca Davis won the 2023 Krazy Klassic 10km. Both racers doublepoled the entire course.
Bass finished first in 23:27, a couple minutes ahead of Michael Davis's 25:48. Davis finished second to Bass in 2022 as well. Third was Allen Sorgenfrei in 26:37.

Rebecca Davis had an even greater lead at the finish. Davis skied the 10k in 29:39. Ellen Thompson was second in 35:07, followed by Sarah Newmister in 36:20.

In the 5km event, Holden Greenberg was first in 16:53, followed by Jim Gobeski (17:57) and Aaron Greenberg (21:13). For the women, Arianne Olsen repeated her last year's 5km win with a time of 10:49 - the fastest 5km time of the day (zoom!), followed by Ella Gaylord in 14:52 and Avery Newmister in 25:13.
Conditions for the race were even better than the previous day's Frosty Freestyle: still sunny and pleasantly cool, but the path between the clubhouse and woods had firmed up. Many skiers had faster times doublepoling the course than skating it! The snow at Huron Meadows Metropark in Brighton, Michigan was 100% man-made.
