Hello,
My name is Sarah Goble I am I junior at Petoskey High School and a member of the Lake Michigan Junior Nordic Ski Team. I set a goal for the 2013/2014 ski season to qualify for Junior Nationals in Stowe, Vermont. After finishing well at a series of qualifier races, I earned enough points to make the Great Lakes District Team that will be going to Junior Nationals this year.
Athletics are an important part of my life and I train year-round for both Nordic Skiing and running. I am a very dedicated to Nordic Skiing and put a lot of effort into being the best skier I can and achieving my goals. I have had a very successful season so far this year. One of my accomplishments this year was winning the girls pursuit race in the Michigan State High School Championship meet.
The ten-day Junior Nationals trip to Vermont will cost $1,650 including transportation, lodging and race fees. Any amount of support I can receive is very much appreciated!
