Dave Fobush and team at Forbush Corner have made a number of improvements for this cross county ski season. An new Piston Bully 200 required a major project to widen trails to 16 feet.

Thanks to Huron Meadows Metroparks' 4 snow guns and dedicated trail crew, Huron Meadows had the only snow around in all of SE Michigan. The cross country ski trail was in great shape for opening day today, Sunday, December 8, 2013.

Huron Meadows Metropark has added three additional snow guns, has lengthened and rerouted the man-made-snow trail, and will open for skiing Sunday, December 8.

The Agawa Canyon Snow Train used by hundreds of skiers each spring to get to the start of the Wabos Loppet is no more. Effective immediately, the snow train has been cancelled.
