September intensity and strength sessions at Kensington Metropark.

It's September and time to start focusing on ski-specific training.

Every Tuesday in September will be intensity night, with a session focused on training at or near race speed. Some session will be on foot (ski walking), some on rollerskis (those without rollerskis can run the session).

  • Ski walking sessions (Sept 6 and 14) will meet at the Tobaggan run parking lot (Orchard Picnic Shelter), Kensington Metropark.
  • Rollerski sessions (Sept 13 and 27) will meet at the Boat rental parking lot, Kensington Metropark. (You can run or ski walk these sessions if you don’t have rollerskis).


Every Wednesday in September will be strength night, with a session focused on general and specific strength training. Sessions will be at Tobaggan run parking lot (Orchard Picnic Shelter), Kensington Metropark. No experience necessary!
