Bend Camp: On snow training in June

Bend, Oregon cross country ski camp in June 2010The Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation is holding an on-snow and dryland training camp for cross country skiers at Mt. Bachelor in Bend, OR, on June 18-22, 2010.

[For those of you who doubt snow in June, I attended a similar on-snow camp in June a few years ago. As of today, Mt. Bachelor had received 458" of snow this season. A few days ago in the NordicSkiRacer trail reports, Bert Hinckley reported "...skiing on 112" of firm snow." - Mike Muha]

  • Dan Simoneau - 1980, 1984, 1988 Olympic Team
  • Tim Gibbons - Former U.S. Olympic Committee sport physiologist and long-time ski coach


  • Ages 8-11, $100, (18th – 22nd, Morning Skiing Only)
  • Ages 12-18, $250
  • Seniors and Masters: $300

A limited amount of transportation from MBSEF to and from training is available.
