The Frosty Freestyle announced today that the Frosty Freestyle race will be held on a backup race course should Mother Nature fails to deliver enough snow by Saturday, January 15, 2010 to use the original course. Video of alternative course!

The cool down we were hoping for overnight never happened and with the light rain we received, part of our trail was lost. We are forced to cancel the race for Sunday.
As of noon Thursday, we expect to hold a race Sunday, Jan 2nd. If conditions permit, we will have a classic race on the lower trails at an estimated 10km/5km junior. If we can't set track we may opt for a 10km freestyle.
Due to the forecasted weather and minimal snow, the Nubs Nob race on 1/1/11 is canceled but may be rescheduled. Conditions at best would be icy and at worst be dirt in the corners due to the rain. Skiing may still be good but not safe for a race.

We have a good track but I think trying to set a new track would bring up a lot of dirt. Therefore, the Holiday Classic will be a 15 Sec Interval Start instead of a Mass Start.
