We had one of the best Muffin Races ever this past Sunday, with over 50 kids from ages 3 to 19 competing in the longest standing junior XC ski race in the state of Michigan. The high school division featured an 8km Pursuit race.

We have a tie in points for first place overall, with Vasa Ski Club racers Milan Baic and John O'Hearn each having 996 points. Team NordicSkiRacer's Jay Woodbeck is just six points behind in third with 990 points.

Michael Davis made it a double victory this weekend, winning Saturday's North American Vasa 27km classic and Sunday's 16km Gran Travers Classic. And Rebecca Davis took no prisoners in the women's division, finishing first with a 10 minute lead.

The Copper Country Ski Tigers won the overall Michigan State High School Cross Country Ski Championship title by taking first in the boys and third in the girls competition. Marquette Senior was second overall. TC Central won the girls title.
