LATEST TRAIL CONDITIONS

TUE, NOV 20

Nubs Nob: The skiing is very good. Almost can use good skis.

Bay Meadows GC: Surprisingly decent conditions today thanks to those who naturally skied-in the "skate lane" compacting the fresh snow several days ago. Most of the way around the loop you're only looking at 1" to 2" of tough, durable hi-density snow that keeps your skating edge from bottoming out, in a few "heavily drifted" areas there was 3" to 4". Probably better conditions for skating, though Sara C. was enjoying classic skiing in the softer snow alongside the skate lane. As the previous trail report says, this should remain ski-able until Friday's forecast melt down.

Blueberry Ridge: Pretty incredible skiing at Blueberry this morning. The foot of snow we got in the past 24 hours was groomed in perfectly. Classic only trails were double tracked, Wolverine and Lighted Loops were also tracked. Skate lane on Wolverine and Lighted Loop was nice and hard and flattened out. The groomers were working on Superior and Wildcat Loops while I was skiing. Superior was soft and I didn't ski on Wildcat. However, they should set up nicely in the next couple of days. There is plenty of snow that I used my race skis. I just cannot believe these early season conditions!

Huron Meadows Metropark: Are they making snow at Buck's Run? When will it be open? Thank you.
