The 6th Annual REI Frosty Freestyle lived up to its name, with temperatures just above zero and a bit of a breeze blowing. Racers bundled up in extra layers and balaclavas. Course conditions were excellent.
Dakota Blackhorse von Jess and Rosie Brennan won the freestyle sprint event at the U.S. Cross Country Skiing Championships. For Blackhorse von Jess, it was his third national title and his second at this week’s U.S. Championship.
