We hope you have been enjoying this lovely hot summer. If you’re like us, it’s possible that thoughts of cooler temps have started to trickle into your brain. Yes? No? Doesn’t matter. Winter is coming, and the time to shop is the Labor Day Weekend Sale at Cross Country Ski Headquarters.

Say what?

That’s right. Roughly half of all clothing in the store will be marked down to 30-50% off. This includes jackets, pants, shirts, sweaters, kids parkas, boots, and more. What brands? Columbia, North Face, Sporthill, Patagonia, Under Armour, Salomon, Merrell, and the list goes on. All non-carry-over soft goods from last season will be on clearance, so your family and friends can make out like bandits.

Cool. Anything else going on?

Glad you asked. Olympic nordic ski coach and maker of United States Ski Poles, Andy Liebner, will be giving a roller ski clinic on Sunday, September 4th from 11:30am – 1:00pm. There will be a barbecue lunch afterwards, followed by a free Classic All Terrain (CAT) ski clinic. The roller ski clinic costs $25 and will focus on double polling technique, skate skiing technique, hill climbing, and overall agility. What happens if I miss the Labor Day Weekend Sale?

Let’s just start by saying, it will be ugly. Before you know it, you’ll be reaching for that worn-out winter jacket or wool sweater with the hole in it, and a deep sense of regret will set in. “Curses!” you’ll yell to no one in particular. “Why did I not attend the Labor Day Weekend Sale at Cross Country Ski Headquarters?! I could have gotten a new Columbia winter jacket for half price, and now instead I shall be forced to wear these godforsaken rags for yet another winter! My friends will laugh at me, my spouse will yell at me, and my children will shame me to no end. Oh, woe is me!” And so on. You get the picture.

So get out of your tin can this Labor Day Weekend and come see us. You will be so happy you did, and we can’t wait to see you.
