It seems like genius: grab the boot-bar by the ends, not the center. It should eliminate all the slop. Right now you can slop around the tip of a 210 ski by about 2" with current NNN/Profil bindings. Very bad for tricky ski handling needs. Since I'm into singletrack skiing on ungroomed trails (thousands of them statewide!) a solid boot/ski connection is critical. And it looks like it'll work with existing boots! YAY!
