Tuesday Night Sprints, Race #6 at Hickory Hills

The final freestyle XC ski sprints took place on Tuesday night
at Hickory Hills, with only one surprise from the winners. Steve Kuhl beat Williamsburg's Milan
Baic in the 4km race by 18 seconds, 11:21 to 11:39. Bill Brundage placed third in 12:34.
For the high school teams, Central's Cameron Ross won the 4km
race in 12:14, with Boyne City's Brad Winkler and West's Chris Scott close behind, 12:45 and
12:46. Glen Lake's Cassidy Edwards edged out Central's Anna Coulter, 13:14 to 13:26, with TC
Christian's Laura Meeker in third in 14:31. St Francis juniors raced a 2km course, with Kirsten
Britten first in :09:00 and Elizabeth Prentice second in :09:35 in the girls race. A J Ambrosius
took first in :09:15, and James Gulvas second in :12:32, for the St Francis junior boys 2km
race.
