Tuesday Night Sprints, Race #5 at Timber Ridge

The Traverse City High School XC ski team held their Tuesday
night sprints at Timber Ridge, in spite of the windy, cold conditions, with Milan Baic winning
the 4km classic race in 12:29, followed by Central's Cameron Ross in 12:50. Steve Kuhl was
second for adult men in 13:11, followed by Bill Brundage in 13:30. Rapid City's Morgan Weir came
in second for junior boys in 14:00; with West's John Hall third in 15:46.
Glen Lake's Cassidy Edwards swept the junior girls' race in
14:12, with Central's Anna Coulter second in 15:22 and West's Michaela Harris third in 16:42.
The junior skiers were warming up for this weekend's Michigan High School Championships, to be
held at Boyne Valley Lodge in Walloon Lake.
