No snow. All races cancelled. Upper Peninsula and lower peninsula. What a drag... January
Feast or famine. Marginal snow in some places caused additional race cancellations,
postponements, or relocations. But other areas a few miles away have record snows. Go figure. February
Things sort of return to normal. Some races get shortened, and there's frequently trepidation
over whether the snow will hold for any individual race, but for the most part things go well. March
It's winter! Great snow! One race cancelled
when high winds knock down trees all over the course. A new race gets scheduled at the last
minute because the snow is so great!

Winners
This year 35 skiers earned a gold pin by completing three
marathon distances and 19 skiers earned a silver pin by completing a combination of any three
long and short distances.
